Park 7 is a novel and pioneering project providing seven environmental-friendly community buildings for living and working. This full-service green campus houses a hotel and offers multiple shared facilities. A first office building (5000 m²) will be completed at the end of 2020 and occupied by 3M. The second office building (15987 m² above ground) will be completed in 2022.
Immogra detected the need for future-oriented working spaces that evolve with current developments in society and the environment. This is why Park 7 was created with a focus on the people that will be working and living there – the buildings themselves are not the focal point.
BREEAM Excellent, WELL Gold & nearly CO2-neutral
Park 7 strives to be the healthiest office site in Belgium by investing in environmental-friendly features that make the park almost CO2-neutral. PV-cells, constructed wetlands and a ground-coupled heat exchanger system are only a few of those green efforts. The on-site greenery and sports facilities make this campus ready to be a certified BREEAM Excellent and WELL Gold-building.
WELL provides a holistic approach on healthy buildings as it takes into account design, operations and behaviour. For Park 7, core and shell WELL-certification implement fundamental features into the base building, for the benefit of future tenants. The Gold-score will meet all preconditions and at least 12 optimisations, using comprehensive strategies to implement human centred lighting, enhanced acoustical comfort, biophilic design, amongst many others. Special measures, such as increased ventilation with 100% outdoor air and using antimicrobial materials for high touch surfaces also prepares the buildings to combat the spread of viruses, such as Covid-19.
