VK architects+engineers reaffirms itself as Best Managed Company

VK architects+engineers may once again call itself a Best Managed Company. Each year, the Best Managed Companies programme rigorously assesses companies on the basis of a clear long-term strategy, extensive capabilities, strong commitment and excellent financial performance. This year, the focus was on how the laureates are succeeding in times of crisis and maintaining a stronger market position.

The Best Managed Companies jury members refer to the clear vision of the future defined in its Route25 plan. With its full lifecycle approach and digitalisation, driven by a strong corporate culture, VK architects+engineers has important assets to respond to the challenges of the sector.

About Best Managed Companies

In 2017, Deloitte Private Belgium launched Best Managed Companies in collaboration with Econopolis, joined in 2019 by KU Leuven. The programme aims to provide guidance and recognition to Belgian private companies that achieve outstanding results.

The globally proven framework is used to assess their leadership qualities and practices in terms of strategy, capabilities, commitment and financial performance. Companies that wish to participate in the programme must have a turnover of more than EUR 10 million. They must be in existence for at least five years, have more than 25 full-time employees and be majority-owned (> 60%) by a Belgian resident, individual or entity. The company's head office or a major decision-making centre must be located in Belgium and it must be in full compliance with legal, fiscal and ethical requirements.

The Best Managed Companies label is an international label for quality and excellence. The programme was developed in Canada in 1993 and has since been rolled out in 42 countries worldwide.
